Flight-wise, the gummy nature of these FD3’s will be noticeably straighter than our C-Line or Color Glow in previous runs and even a little bit less than our recent stock release of the S-Line version. Flex 1 C-Line is also has quite a bit more grip to the plastic as well. Shots that need to “hit and sit” will be well executed by the Flex 1 FD3.
The FD3 is our true workhorse fairway driver. Featuring a low profile, blunt nose, and concave inner rim, this is the disc to get things done. It can be trusted to handle high amounts of wind, forehand shots, thumber/tomahawk, and snappy backhand throws from even the strongest arms. Every player needs one of these in the bag for its sheer reliability and durability.
The FD3 is the most stable fairway driver in our Originals line. For many players it will be an utility driver that only comes out in specific situations, like in strong headwinds or to cut tight corners. For players with more arm speed, it will hold a straight line for a longer time, before the inevitable fade.
C-Line
- Our most durable plastic – these discs wear down very slowly. C-Line discs retain original flight characteristics for an extended period of time. Whether used in heavily wooded situations, or on extremely rugged courses, the C-Line plastic will continue to perform predictably and avoid damage better than any other plastic. Good grip and showstopper see-through look. Typically the most stable blend of plastic in our line.
